Stupidly annoyed...light hearted

An extra Bank Holiday ...for the Queens Jubilee.....but it's in half term ....AARRGHH.

The school year has been adjusted by a day though so we will get it at some point. We just break up a day earlier for summer.

That’s poor, we are getting an extra day in November for it

The whole country is getting an extra day's leave, you should be no exception

State school here, and we too are getting our extra bank holiday elsewhere in the year, so we don’t miss out.

Do we get this in Wales? First I've heard of it.

Working days have been reduced to 194. We chose to go back a day later in January. It should be the same in the independent sector surely?

I’m in Wales - We had to take our extra day on 2nd September, what a waste, would have much preferred to wait until next year.

We dont seem to have it in our calendar either. Also in Wales. I wonder when we will hear....
