I need to buy a really lovely end of year gift for my fantastic partner teacher (i.e. the person who teaches the parallel class to mine in our year group).

It's been the mother of all years and she has really gone above and beyond, especially given it has been my first year in an SLT position so I have had a lot of time out from our year group.

However, I am devoid of inspiration. If you were 27, with no kids, sporty / outdoorsy, into travel, like animals... What might you like.

Otherwise, it's gin.

(I am much older, married with a family and have no memory of youth or joie de vivre).

My daughter is a teacher (age 25, similar interests to your colleague) she was given the most lovely gift yesterday which was a breakfast selection with a tag saying ‘you’ve worked hard all year now enjoy a relaxing breakfast’. She was thrilled and as well as being a thoughtful gift and easy to buy the component parts it is something you could do to suit all budgets. Hers had orange juice, porridge, croissant, mini jam, coffee and cookies. You could add Buck’s Fizz or even a plate & bowl if you wanted to make it more substantial. We both thought it was a great gift.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think she'd like any of these but I know I would LOVE someone to buy me the breakfast thing!!
