Further funding cuts that are not publicised?

I know of at least three schools who are making support staff and teaching assistants redundant or cutting their hours.
Have schools had their budgets slashed even further ?

We have had our higher needs funding cut by nearly £100000 ( we are a smallish primary school with just under 300 children) , support staff are not being replaced when they leave.

@spanieleyes that's horrendous. So there are at least four schools that we know of where this has hapoey. Why isn't there more public outcry. I'm only aware are I work in two of them and my friend was made redundant from another .
