I'm living in limbo - have applied (deadline lunchtime 26th)

I've not heard either way.. what are my chances of hearing tomorrow?!

The limbo is doing my head in :(

That's a pretty tight turn around. For the job I have now I had about 3 days notice of the interview. It could be the interview won't be till later in the week. Could you give them a ring?

I didn't want to be too pushy - I might give them a ring tomorrow to get an update.

I've always heard back 2-3 days after application deadline. I would assume at this point they've already made their shortlist

Did you hear back/chase them today?

I have just accepted a new job. I sent an application on the closing date on the Tuesday and hadn't heard anything back by Friday. I decided to call on Friday lunchtime and 'check they had received my application' . The HR lady was off that day but the HOD said she hadn't had my application and to send it through as they were shortlisting that afternoon. I then was contacted later that day to say I was being invited to interview.

Definitely worth chasing!

I know they have my application - I decided not to ring today- but will ring on Monday ..

I had hoped that I would hear either way - I always have in the past - but maybe that does not always happen.
