I have tried the tough bag things but papers are getting messed up.
I have tried lever arch folders with millions of punch pockets yet that doesn’t seem to work well either.

How do you store your resources?

A3 size plastic zip lock wallet things in those underbed storage boxes - I write on the wallets with sharpie and everything goes baack where it came from. I have 2 boxes in my attic for things that won't get used any time soon, 1 in a cupboard in my room, another under my desk which has got stuff I'll use this year.

I'm torn a bit on this now. I don't laminate stuff any more due to environment shiz.

I had 6 months off work in 2019, there were 9 boxes of stuff and a massive bag of fabric in my attic... not including books. Books are the issue right now.

Thank you!

I have been toying with box files but things will slip around

Ive also minimised my classroom style a lot recently, so got rid of a load of stuff I won't use.

What sort of resources do you mean?

I’m been teaching 10 years and I’ve built up a lot of stuff.

I have a big storage box for literacy and a box for numeracy for each year group. If I keep something, I just put in a poly pocket and put it in the relevant box. A few books at one end keeps things standing up.

I don’t keep random crappy worksheets, only ‘good’ resources.

Things like hundred squares, punctuation fans etc I put in tubs (usually just recycled food —chocolate boxes—).

Electronically, then if anything is needed I'll just print it. I've also got a couple of trays filled with old exam papers that get wheeled out at revision time and then refilled after the exams

Our school curriculum is on a 2 year cycle so all my topic resources are only needed every other year. So I just got out all my gingerbread man things from last year and only 2/3 were usable so puppets and laminated vocabulary sheets etc

In phonics things like phase 5 read and roll games and picture cards. We won’t need these straight away in September but I don’t want to remake them.
