Hi just wondered if any family liaison officers are on here or family support worker or various other possible titles for similar roles.

Can you tell me a typical day (pre covid I guess) and whether you enjoy the job and feel you are paid well/fairly for it. What responsibilities do you have and what hours do you work? Also do you have a related degree? Do you ever wish you were in the classroom teaching or as a TA or are you happy with your role and set up?

I ask as I am looking at these roles now and the hours, responsibilities and pay can vary wildly. I am doing a degree at the moment and have previously been a deputy head teacher at a private Montessori pre school and been a safe guarding lead so I do have experience but with younger children and I was teaching in addition to my role so I'm wondering if I'll miss that aspect or if I'll actually enjoy the different role more?!
