Have been offered some small group intervention work at a school but on £100 day rate instead of £130 as it is small groups. All part of govt catch up plan. Would be nice but not sure about the pay cut. But small groups so less marking and stress really. What would you do?

No. Apply to schools directly. Near 30 per hour qualified in NE .

Remember that planning for a small group takes as long as for a large one. Working with small intervention groups all day is intense and exhausting. You will probably have lots of data etc. to return as well, and expectations which may not be possible to meet. Not saying don't do it for less than your usual rate but that you shouldn't be expected too. If you need the money, fine. Otherwise noone should be expected to sell themselves short. Where are the unions in this scenario?
