Video editing software for students to use on Chromebooks

I'm guessing we won't be doing our usual big Year 6 production this summer, so I was thinking of doing a film making project and getting them to create silent movies in groups of 6 which we could then publish to the parents.

We did something similar 4 or 5 years ago using stop motion animation and they cut the footage and pasted it together on the class computers using Windows Moviemaker.

We've now got a set of 15 iPads and 15 Chromebooks, so it would be great to use them, but is there a Moviemaker equivalent for Chromebooks?

TIA
