Just that really.

If they do, seems a bit mad that teachers might be asked to work extra weeks in the Summer for no extra post!

I assume not, unless they're in a role which is paid by the hour anyway, but I don't know for certain.

I don’t think that’s what they’re suggesting? From what I’ve read, summer schools and after school provision would be run by other providers. They wouldn’t just expect teachers to do it.

I know of doctors asked to staff a vaccination clinic at a weekend for no pay; nurses and other HCAs were to be paid. If staff are asked to work extra shifts in say a hospital, I'm pretty certain they'd be paid but many will work extra hours at the end of their shifts for nothing.
