Does anyone else find their placement during a pandemic lonely

How’s it going for others...

Very lonely! My university set us up into mini groups of 4 and encouraged us to chat and that's worked well as we have a whatsapp and message sometimes. But even with that it's still pretty lonely, I'd love to meet up for a coffee and all share our experiences, and talk to the rest of the people on my course.

It's really hard, so I'm hoping that whatever job I get the people will be really friendly so I can make friends there, as I think usually NQT have other NQT friends going into their first job but I won't really!

@MissPrimaryCrafts yeah I’m totally in the same boat. Met none of my coursemates to have a support network with. The ones I did meet we didn’t get to spend much time together.

And now while I’m at my new placement I feel really lonely. Like I’m a spare part. No matter how hard I try I just feel like there’s a popular bunch and I’m not like that.
