OK, it seems I may only have half a job to to for the next 2 weeks (or possibly 10, who knows) so continuing on from my success at offering a tea trolley service to staff last term I need more ideas to support our teaching staff. As teachers or TAs what would you like support with until the classrooms are populated again? Principal vetoed a mobile cocktail cabinet, I can't offer free hugs but I want to do something to cause the odd smile or sigh of relief in whatever way I can....

Someone at our place has become the self-appointed fairy of the staff loos; nice soap, flowers, mirror, sanitary products, tissues, hand cream, make-up remover pads, radio, pack of plasters, artwork...

What I really, really need though, and I don’t know if you are in a position to influence it, is a robust system for monitoring kids not engaging with online learning, and the reassurance that it’s not my fault and I won’t be be hung out to dry when my bottom set year eleven cannot be arsed.

The things I'd like most are the opportunity to be listened to by management and a bit of positive feedback. Your tea trolley idea is genius, that would make my day if someone appeared with a tea for me Smile
