Do not give the staffroom password just in case it attracts the wrong sort

Other requirements for staff room entry include the ability to find the staff room, the ability to find a clean mug in the staff room, knowledge of the photocopier codes, and the ability to sniff out where the booze is stashed - Thirsty Tuesdays, Fizz Fridays now in operation.

If you come with a stick to goad us then that is not allowed in the staffroom and you will receive a detention

I have very excited children who have opened their stocking presents. Normally we would wait for grandparent to come round before opening the others, but that's not happening this year - so I'm hoping to delay them until after breakfast!

I went back to sleep as still feeling exhausted, but my isolation finished at midnight so I'm now a free woman. Might even try a mimosa after my shower and then visit db grave and have a drink with him. Exciting stuff.

Dd2 has invaded our bedroom to open her stocking. She is now making noises about waking dd1 up so we can open the presents under the tree. I'm not sure dd1 will be too thrilled with being woken up just yet, but dd2 is sure she'll be fine with it.

And my test came back negative, so we're allowed out now ☺️

Feel like im getting a sore throat

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm just about ready to go back to bed . It's weird having a small Christmas, normally I plan the meal with military precision but this year all I've done is peel potatoes so far! Having bagels for lunch them roasting a chicken later. Wishing you all joyful days.

We've spun out presents til now, and everyone seems happy with what they've got. I normally get quite a bit of chocolate, but this year I haven't been given any. Craft kits are the theme for me this year

Morning all and Merry Christmas Day. Our church service live on Zoom was lovely and hilarious. It included a surprise doorstep present delivery for the new curate, who turns 30 today. He did very well to keep going with leading it, it's also his first as "Daddy Bear", as his new jumper (possibly PJs?!) proclaimed, and babe did a beautiful loud trump at one point for us all

(They've had to draft more army to help at Dover. Just sayin')
