Oftsed/ mock Ofsted during lockdown

Is anyone having Ofsted or mock Ofsted inspections during this second 'lockdown'? I was, perhaps incorrectly, under the impression that everything like this was to be put on hold for now.

Mock OFSTED during lockdown is a recipe for staff meltdown, and it would be a very foolish HT that held one, imho.

We are having mock deep dives in each subject starting next month. All the other usual expectations are still there too - lesson obs, we’ve had learning walks and 2 book scrutinies. Staff are unhappy and morale has been affected. It’s not right.

Of course, my school started these a few weeks into term with still some departments to be seen. Staff morale is on the floor.

Do you mean the school is doing mock Ofsted themselves or are Ofsted doing mock inspections?

And yet I know of a school that has said noone can observe an NQT as that would be crossing bubbles.

Group of primaries. We have deep dives from subject leads practically every week from now on - virtually. Sending photos of books plus the tracking completed for top/middle/bottom plus staff voice/pupil voice. Hate it. Hate it when it's my turn to make someone else send me stuff too. A week in I'm on my knees - staff meeting one night, Google training another and a couple of evenings parent consultation phone calls .Plus I'm on break duty every day with my class (bubble) and I cover 20 mins of lunch duty daily. Plus trying to fit the whole curriculum into a shorter day with handwashing/drop off pick up windows etc

Ofsted came to us the other week as a like, observation to see how we had set up home learning, followed covid procedures, and how the kids were settling in. It was quite stressful for those who were involved with it but they didn’t come into any classrooms.
