How is pastoral care working in your school ?

I run a nurture provision and work between bubbles.

We're in a local lockdown hotspot area and getting nervous!

Interested in how others are managing this kind of work ?

Our nurture teacher is currently working 1:1 or in small groups with children from the same bubble rather than mixing bubbles as usual in a nurture group provision.

Obviously means she’s crossing bubbles across the whole school though. But it’s hard to know what else could happen. We have children who desperately need some kind of nurture provision

Our (secondary school) pastoral team are working across all bubbles, like all of our teachers, but with no attempt at wearing masks or social distancing. Makes a mockery of the whole bubble system.
