Hi
If you are not jumping straight in with normal SOW, what are you doing for catch up? We have a very vague plan which isnt great and Im interested to know what others are doing so I can change that. Have been told we are 'trusted to plan our own lessons' when we brought up how we werent happy with the plan, but Im not sure what to do instead and not much guidance!

Thanks

Just crack on and teach. Maths isn't like other subjects, you can back fill topics as you come to them. Eg if you've got expanding brackets, do some work with distributive law, negatives before teaching the expanding. Students tend to revisit stuff anyway.

What other plan do you want/expect?

Thats what Id rather do- but not what we have been told. Think im going to do that anyway!

Who would know if you didn't do it? I'd just go for it.
