How many hours is 50% for childcare offer

Hope someone can help me figure out if I’m eligible for the childcare offer in Wales.
I need to be working at least 16 hours a week to qualify.
I’m currently 50% but need to review this when I return from maternity leave.

I’ve just read something about holiday weeks being included in the averaging process and I’m not sure how this works.

Anyone have an idea how to work this out?

Are you a teacher or a TA?

If a teacher, 50% would be 16.25 hrs per week, as teachers are salaried, there's no averaging needed.

If you're a TA, the 50% is also 16.25 hours PW term time. If you have term time contract for 38 weeks plus inset days, you'd usually be paid for 44.26 weeks, so averaged out over 52 weeks, it'd be just under 14 hour per week.

Thanks @hallamoo I’m a teacher so seems like I should just about be ok!
I’ve got a while before we need to apply but it just seems like such a confusing minefield!
