Any Reception teachers on here doing the early adopter thing?

Because there are just new ELGs with no supporting documents, died that mean that we as teachers have to design our own Development Matters document?

I expect you'll have seen it, but just to say the new DfE development matters document is now available - I think it was published yesterday. Seems very last minute given term has already started!

We were supposed to be early adopters but our deputy head withdrew us earlier in the week as the new ELGs weren't directly compatible with the old DM, and, as you say, tracking was going to be too tricky. Now wondering if we can re register!

We’re doing it and are hoping to get our heads round the new development matters before half term. I’ve only had a quick glance at it but it doesn’t seem to have such a clear break down as the last one. It’ll be hard to track the children’s progress I think.
