Have I missed Boris's big catch up announcement?

Last week he said that there was a big announcement this week about massive summer catch up for children. Did I miss it? Perhaps it will be tomorrow? It's gone all quiet.

It is being leaked bit by bit.

I hear tell that Big Gav is doing the briefing tomorrow (everything from the DfE is done on a Friday evening!)

I think they like to do it on a Friday so that parents can then spend the weekend going mad on mumsnet over the weekend. They also like to give all school staff a nice Friday night surprise of what they should be ready to implement on Monday morning!

I suspect Dominic Raab's wife reads MN since the believing Take A Knee as from Game of Thrones seemed to gain traction on here, so I imagine Mrs Williamson and Mrs Hancock are on here. Gove's wife definitely is. They probably enjoy reading about how irate everyone is at teachers!
