What would you do? 6 new children started my child’s class on Monday which significantly takes them over 15 threshold. They don’t realise I know. Is it just a guideline or could school really get in trouble?

I’m interested in responses to this. I know of a local school who have around 20 children (all in one classroom) each day with a different team of teachers each day. That’s not how my school is doing it, I think my friends school is breaking the rules but she’s been told that the guidelines allow SLT to do what they want.....

They are guidelines not laws. Schools can do what they want as long as they have risk assessed.

My personal experience is that it is entirely down to the individual school. Some schools seem extremely safe, others, my own included, seem to be just hoping for the best with little regard for the guidance.
