that the teachers at my dc's secondary have been amazing. Yes, I have emailed them to say so. But I did not want to gush, which I can do here.

As well as plans of work, Powerpoints and videos, my Y12 has been having regular Teams tutorials, plus 1:1 contact whenever they've requested it. My other dc have full and varied OL timetables, with feedback. No real time contact, but regular group and personal emails. Pastoral care has continued.

I do not know how you have done it! I suspect that the parents who appreciate you now are the same ones who appreciated you before Covid, but I sincerely hope your HoDs and Heads, and the DFE, give you the recognition you deserve.

Our head sends round the positive emails he receives from parents, and we really do appreciate them.
