Thoughts on jobs for September

I am hoping to get a new part time job in September. However I'm wondering if many people will be resigning by May half term. Do you think more people will stick with their jobs in the uncertainty, therefore making less jobs come up?

I’ll be resigning Grin

I'm thinking of resigning! I think lots of people will.

There'll still be jobs, people move on, don't worry.

Thank you. I'm just looking at jobs and there don't seem to be many but maybe there'll be more nearer to half term.

I have just had an interview. If I get the job I'll be resigning from my current post.

I’ve just posted this on another thread, but there are definitely fewer jobs around. A small number of people might hand notice in at last minute, but either schools not worked how to recruit online or teachers are not leaving at same rate as normal

I think people will leave and there will be jobs but not necessarily a September start. There will be a few vacancies at my school (mat leave and retirement) but my head doesn’t want to advertise until schools are back as she is unwilling to do a zoom interview. We are going to shift things around internally, interview in late sept/early oct and cover until January.
