COVID Risk Assessment - has your school got one?

Did your Head/SLT produce a COVID risk assessment prior to your school opening for keyworker children? If so, has it been shared with staff going in?

Just curious as to what other schools' 'open-during-Covid' procedures and guidance are like?

Yes, I am SLT and we have this. Whenever it is updated it goes round to all staff again and copies are available in the rooms used at school.

We also have individual risk assessments for some of our vulnerable children who are still attending.

Nope!

Dogsaresomucheasier · 26/04/2020 12:51

Yes. Limited number of kids and staff:ratio, hand washing and cleaning procedures, break times/sun protection, what needs to happen if a child or adult starts to display symptoms on site...

Yes, we have procedures in place with clear routines especially with cleaning. Social distancing hasn't happened, I work in primary so we have reception age up to year 6. The younger ones have no concept. This is my main concern.

The procedures were shared with staff before we went in. We have a rota.

I was kind of thinking staff would be included here.

TheFallenMadonna · 27/04/2020 11:07

Yes.

Elizabeth110100 · 27/04/2020 17:48

Yes. There's nothing we don't have a risk assessment for?

QueenofLouisiana · 28/04/2020 07:44

Yes, it includes instructions about washing ourselves and clothes when we get home. Individual children (primary age) have a RA if they are likely to have issues with social distancing.

Not as far as I know. I don't have to go in but I know my friend complained to our union rep about lack of social distancing and having to buy her own anti bac hand gel.

If there is one it certainly ahs not been shared.
