Year 11 tutor, special last day, ideas?

What can I do for my poor tutor group? Things that they can take away as memories. They have a day off timetable tomorrow. Write a song? Make photo frames? Ideas gratefully received!

You could make a memory book. Do you have photos of them taken over the last few years? Make up a book with one photo in the middle of each page. Staple them up, give one to each student and then give them time to write things in each others books - messages to each other, memories etc.

If you don't have photos then take some tomorrow - a whole class picture and the some relaxed individual and small group ones. Let them be as silly as they want in the pictures. Print them out at lunchtime for signing in the afternoon.

Maybe add a message from you on the first page.

Make a newspaper.

Interview each other, photos, headlines etc. Similar to the memory book above.

You could also use black bin bags and make 'graduation' gowns, and hats made of paper and polan an American style graduation.

Staying with the theme you could do a list of 'most likely to...'

Assuming you have SIMS can you get their year 7 pictures? I'm sure you could do something with that.

How lovely of you to be thinking of this I really feel for the year 11 pupils, what an awful way to end school. Lovely to know that there are teachers who care so much
