How long to hear about a job?

I have applied for a position at a British international school, any idea how long it might take them to reply?

It depends on the school..
I've had replies in a couple of days and replies after a couple of weeks.

That depends. Some schools are surprisingly disorganised and some HR people rather rude. I once had a response to several messages two weeks after a Skype interview the HR person didn't log on for. Poor.
On the other hand, I've also had emails to keep me up to date on a speculative application at a new school. They aren't in the process of recruiting teaching staff, yet, but let me know that they haven't forgotten about me every so often. That's quite nice. :)
Give it a week or so and then contact them.

Heard nothing yet (applied on 17th Feb.) so sent an email today. I applied through TES and am paranoid that the school hasn't received the application.

Good luck. :)
We've got a job opening at the moment. Start date from basically right now. However, we are not a British curriculum school...and bilingual, not purely English-speaking.

If you applied through TES then it may be worth sending an email checking they have got your email.

Fuzzyspringroll Would you mind if I message you, please?

marcopront I emailed yesterday but no reply yet.

Sure. I've tried to send you a PM. Not sure whether it's arrived.
