I hate this question and am job searching for a primary position right now. Can anyone help with a great response. Thanks.

Talk about your skills, personal qualities and how you fit the ethos of the school. Have two or three examples for each. Also maybe include how you cpuke contribute to extra curricular life of the school.

I’ve heard it phrased as an easier question to answer: ‘if we don’t appoint you, what will we have missed out on?’
Does that help you?
Or maybe tell them what your colleagues say about you. Less embarrassing than blowing your own trumpet.

Thanks for the responses. I like the reframing of the question. I just don't like interviews - but I guess no one does.

I hate the 'what are your weaknesses' question. So you want me to tell you what I'm crap at?!

True answer. My time keeping. But I work extra hard to make sure that doesn't spill over to my work life and I'm usually 30 minutes early for work (gives me that window for delays). But I don't like to tell them that in case they think that I'm not reliable
