Just that really but am sure the kids sense I'm shattered which makes them play up even more. Even my usually a joy to teach year 10 class were horrible today. How will we get through the next 3 weeks? It doesn't help that slt are piling on the demands (Ofsted on the horizon and all that)

Same here! I’m overwhelmed with everything I should be doing. I teach and have a whole school role... each could be a full time job but they’re not and I’m not doing either job as well as I’d like.

I’m done, and have called in sick for tomorrow.

I think my lessons are still okay, but I can tell I'm exhausted because my planning is taking so long! My head just isn't in it. But it's a vicious circle because the longer I take to plan, the more tired I am...

Roll on Christmas.

Students are also really tired. Cut yourself and them some slack. Not much longer xx

If I have a bad day and am thinking, "shit, poor kids," I try to remember that the alternative, (no teacher at all, or being farmed out or a cover teacher) would have been worse for everyone.
Tomorrow is another day.
