Can I ask how badly being signed off sick affects your ability to go for promotion? I’m intending to go for HoD jobs this year (core subject) but I suffer from migraines and have been signed off for three days earlier in the term. This is likely to happen again as they try and sort appropriate medication. Is this likely to affect any new job I go for? I’m desperate to leave my current place and I’m hopeful that this will have settled by September.
