Job offer on the day for c.s?

Hi,
I have been invited to interview for a cover supervisor job this week. Iv also been offered an interview for a cover supervisor at another school next week.

Out of the two, I'd prefer the job I'm interviewing for next week.

I'm not sure what to do, if I went for the job interview this week and they offered me it, would I have to accept or decline there and then?

Obviously I might not get offered either but I don't want to accept the first interview and then not be able to go try get the job at the other school next week.

Any ideas?!

In teaching they usually appoint the same day and ask in interview if you are still a firm candidate. It will be tricky. They may give you 24 hours to decide but see what they say.

Thanks superram, I suspect it will be like that, such a tricky situation and I don't want to waste anyone's time.
