Do I have to take a promotion?

On Fri, I was asked if i would consider taking on a subject lead role and joining SLT.
I have no interest in doing either! I work 4 days and have 4 school aged kids. My life is very busy both inside and outside school, and I don't feel as though I have any more headspace to deal with any extra stuff.
I have my PM meeting this week and it will come up. Will it look bad if I say no? There is no-one else to take the role on. Will it look like I don't care about moving the school forward? I do care- I get good results and work hard for my pupils! Will it look like I have no ambition (I don't especially)?
WWYD? I enjoy working at my school and just want to be left alone to teach, without other stuff getting put on me!
I'm so concerned about it that I'm spending my Sunday asking you guys for advice!

You don't have to take it. It's an offer; up to you whether you accept or not. Tell them you're grateful, but quite happy doing your current role and have no wish to change.

Absolutely say no if you don't want to take it on, just as @Singlenotsingle says. However, would you be interested in it if you were given a realistic chunk of non contact time to do the extra work in?
