School related anxiety dreams

I don't feel worried about going back to work (lovely school, extremely lucky) but last night I had a nightmare that I was new and no one had shown me where to get exercise books etc or how to log in to my computer. The kids all left the room and wouldn't come back in - giggling in the corridor and making me look foolish!

Once had a nightmare where OFSTED came in and a kid was blasting a radio which wouldn't turn off even when I unplugged it from the wall 😂

Anyone else have anxiety dreams about work?

Every Sunday night without fail!

I generally do at the end of summer. Had my first one last night. Like you, I'm not anxious about returning - I like my school and I am starting a promoted post which I'm excited about.

Last night though, I had a dream that it was my first lesson with my new Y7 class. I had planned a practical. I hadn't done a seating plan so just told them to sit down but they were getting up/changing places/wouldn't listen and then were eating/drinking things from the practical , shouting, screaming and generally causing chaos!!

I am hoping my lessons with Y7 on Tuesday go rather better than the one in my dream

I had one about school last night too! Mine was losing my group on a trip to Disneyland, Paris. (I've been 3 times with the school and have yet to lose anyone!)

I've had a few already this holiday. Last night's was that yr 7 all escaped and took themselves off to an Indian restaurant. Lord knows where that came from!

All of year 7 going collectively for a curry has me in stitches 😂

I’ve had 21 years of these - always that I’ve forgotten to revise, or even attend lessons, for my A Level history exams. I haven’t had it yet. It’ll be Sunday or Monday.
My end of year dreams were sad this year. 3 nights of looking for lost children! Harder for me to separate than it is for them I think.

Yep! Mine is a reoccurring one about them all talking all the way through my lesson and me resorting to bellowing over them!

Luckily, after one week my brain is too exhausted to be anxious!

I’ve occasionally had the dream that I turn up to school totally starkers, yet no one seems to notice. Always wake up in a hot mess, but VERY relieved it was only a dream!
