I read on wiki that he went to state schools and the university of Bradford, so I thought at least he’s not another grammar schooler or old Etonian, and not Oxbridge. And that his wife was a primary teacher, he might have more of a clue about the profession.

He was the MD of his own business. He has two kids, apparently.

And apparently his political inspiration was Rab Butler, of Butler Act fame.
