What type of safeguarding questions should I expect during interview?

I have an interview coming up in an SEN school and they have expressed that they will be asking me questions on safeguarding.

What things will they ask do you think? Help much appreciated!

Common one is they give you a scenario- e.g. child comes to you and says they are scared to go home because their parent hits them. What are your next steps?

If you report concerns to the safeguarding lead and you feel that it has not been actioned, what would you do?

What is your understanding of PREVENT and British Values.

Dealing with intimate care (toileting, for example) or inappropriate touching?

Brill, thanks! I know how to answer all of these, just need to make my answers concise. I feel that don’t come across very articulate in interviews

I have my safeguarding sheets do you need copies?

Safeguarding means a tripping risk or a bare wire, in even shelving, lights not working, sloppy surfaces, etc

It’s not all about sexual abuse or neglect

What would you do if you didn't agree with the decision I (designated safeguarding lead) had made?

Or

The DSL says they've investigated and sorted it. It's a few weeks down the line and You don't feel things are improving for child xx. What are you going to do now?

Depending on the scenario they give you, make sure you cover the need to document concerns, the need for all the team to be aware and following procedures, recording on the correct system and basically following protocols and referring up to the designated safe guarding lead. This is especially important with non verbal children,
The scenario I was asked to think about ( for a SEN job) had an element where a team member had known about something but it hadn't been recorded,
Don't be afraid to ask them to clarify the scenario if you aren't sure,
