This is probably a long shot, but I know you lot are good! I am teaching abroad, and my class absolutely fell in love with the video clips from Operation Ouch with the human body information and experiments. I would love something similar about biomes, or habitats, or animal adaptations or just reptiles/ mammals etc. I'm sure there must be a David Attenborough or something like the Really Wild Show, but I must be googling the wrong vocabulary. They loved the "Britishness" so I don't want to fall back on Khan Academy or similar. Does anyone happen to know of any programmes that might work? Thank you so much!

What about Steve backshall - the deadly 60.

The Future is Wild is a fantastic fictional documentary about how life might evolve without mammals. The one hour version has real scientists talking about how they came up with the ideas.

The planet earth dvd has some excellent stuff on adaptation particularly in the deserts and jungles episodes in series 1. And series 2 is breath taking. Both will be on dvd on amazon x
