Supply - do you get paid for tea breaks ?

Hi, I wonder if I can ask a quick question. Going to do some supply work within a school as a T.A. I have to book down on my timesheet the hours worked on a weekly basis. Do I include the 15 minutes tea break ? I don't cover a duty but often have to deal with children and photocopying etc? I am sure that I am not allowed to put down for the lunch hour and have to take this unpaid. Just wanted to query about the tea break as this adds up over the week and I am only working a few hours within the week. Do I include the 15 minute tea break as paid or unpaid ??

I don’t know about TAs but teachers get paid for morning break but not lunch, so I’d put it down. I’d put it down anyway without a thought tbh, my experience of supply agencies is that they don’t really scrutinise anyway, and as you say you’ll basically be working anyway, so don’t do yourself out of the cash unless specifically told otherwise.

Ok. I was thinking this. The school has to approve my timesheet, so I will see if they query it this week or not when it goes through.
