Can I ask what your school would be doing in the following circumstance?
6 year old undiagnosed (but clearly SEN) child had spat at other children on at least 3 occasions. Child is awaiting ADHD and autism diagnosis. Incidents happen in unstructured times ie. at lunch and on the playground.
What would the inital reaction be? How would it be dealt with? What would/could the school put in place to prevent escalation of this behaviour? Would you expect closer supervision of the child in social situations?
