Training to be a FE teacher - could you give me the good, the bad, and the ugly please?

I'm currently looking into doing my PGCE FE and want some honest stories from people who have done it and are teachers. It's very easy to be sucked in by the "become a teacher, it's amazing" marketing bumpf.

So please, tell me all!

No money in FE
staff being made redundant,
more teaching on same fraction,
hefty part of job is marketing to fight for the low birth rate at 16, endless useless management initiatives,
loads of sixth form mergers ,
endless pushing for outstanding grades on non outstanding students

Dont do it.
