I was in EYFS for 4 years but due to staff leaving my head has moved me to year 5. This wasn’t my choice but I would be working with a very experienced teacher in the opposite class so wasn’t too worried. She has unfortunately been signed off long term sick with no idea if/when she’ll return.
Of course I’m very sad for her but I am also in a state worrying about the children and myself. I am totally, totally out of my depth. Apart from the NC, is there something I can read to help me plan/teach this first term? I have her plans but they are quite general (fine when you know what you’re doing!).
