What would you appreciate as an end of term gift?
Please don't say hand made shit (I am not creative) or written card.
I really want to buy something thoughtful - as my DSs form tutor this lady has been really amazing.
Happy to go with wine, choccies but any more arty ideas would be lovely.

Some posh drawing pencils?

monkeysox · 06/07/2018 21:25

Art book?
Pens pencils
Framed print
Wine?

Thank you both. I really would love to get a framed print but would be unsure of what she would like. I might visit a local gallery type place and see what they have - if it's really not her style I guess she could put it up in school somewhere so not wasted! I am a Maths teacher so this arty stuff is way over my head.
A nice Art book and posh pencils comes a good second xxx

I have kept every card and letter I have ever been given by a student / parent. These are some of my most treasured things.
I love flowers and plants as gifts, actually plants as they can nurture them and they remind me of that student!
Ooh, just had a thought, a coffee cup that keeps my coffee hot, as I never get to drink it all in one go!

Avoid art stuff, she will already have better art stuff and it will probably be wasted.

The nicest things are a card with real thank you inside. A nice notebook, folder etc paperchase is great. Or a nice coffee travel mug?
