New job, returning to teaching in schools after a few years. Went through the threshold 2 schools ago in I think 2004 or thereabouts. I don't have the confirmation letter. I do have the form I filled in but that doesn't say that I passed on it. I don't have any payslips from jobs where I was paid the UPS.

Any ideas?

Could the local authority confirm it for you.

IHeartKingThistle · 09/05/2018 17:11

Ooh maybe, I've moved away but could try calling them.

I've just had a look at the form and it was 2008.

Pay slip?

sakura06 · 09/05/2018 20:39

I suppose that might be a bit out of date. If you could find a reference to pay scales in 2004, it could work. Assuming you keep pay slips!

IHeartKingThistle · 09/05/2018 21:33

No payslips sadly.

HR from former employer can provide proof (had to do similar recently)

TuftedLadyGrotto · 10/05/2018 21:36

Even if you prove it they don't have to honour it. There is no pay portability anymore.

TuftedLadyGrotto · 10/05/2018 21:36

You should have P60s, it important to keep those for pension evidence.

SueDunome · 10/05/2018 21:38

Teachers Pensions statement? You should be able to get this from your online account. It won't show your scale point, but it will show the FTE salary, then you just need to find the old salary scales?

IHeartKingThistle · 10/05/2018 23:02

Thanks all, my last school came good. New school have said they'll honour it.

That's great news!
