Need some inspiration!

May have to raid DD's bookcase later.

THe highway rat!

cliffdiver · 25/02/2018 07:13

I have a phobia of rats, so maybe not Grin

I'm going to be red riding hood. I hate dressing up for world book day now, it's just a day where 30 children in polyester onesies lose their shit as they are too hot and we are off timetable.

BluebellTheDonkey · 25/02/2018 07:39

Slinky Malinki. Black trousers and top, cat ears and tail from last year's cat in the hat, will draw nose and whiskers on. I am the opposite of slinky

cliffdiver · 25/02/2018 07:43

Bluebell I may have to pinch your idea! Genius!

Katie Morag. Have the red curly hair wellies and tartan skirt. Bought a cheap cream knitted jumper off eBay. Job done

cliffdiver · 25/02/2018 13:30

Now set on Slinky Malinki - going to make some 'sausages' and sew on a teddy and a trainer if I can be bothered.

Captain Underpants!!!

cloudyweewee · 25/02/2018 20:04

I just take a toy tortoise in and say I'm Mrs Silver from Esiotrot

LJdorothy · 25/02/2018 20:20

We're not dressing up this year. Pjs or other comfy clothes, hot chocolate and lots of reading aloud.

jensner · 25/02/2018 20:24

Fern from Charlotte's Web - denim dungaree dress with checked shirt and a toy pig and toy spider.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 25/02/2018 20:25

The Mum from Crummy Mummy and Me.

toomuchicecream · 25/02/2018 21:10

Sophie from the BFG - pjs and dressing gown. It got me through Roald Dahl day...

Bitlost · 26/02/2018 12:03

Joan of Arc (Sparrow by Michael Morpurgo). DD is very excited and so am I!

Namechanger5555 · 26/02/2018 18:00

Where's Wally.
I'm a supply teacher so don't want to go wild. Already have the stripy jumper and glasses.
Last year I was malificent and it was amazing.

cliffdiver · 26/02/2018 19:12

Sophie from The BFG is a great idea.

As is anything that involves wearing pyjamas Grin

I'm going as the Rainbow Fish. I've spent the evening sewing rainbow coloured scales onto an old blue top. Tomorrow I have to make a skirt out of strips of the same fabrics. I must be mad!

parrotonmyshoulder · 27/02/2018 06:48

Generic fairy tale wolf for me. Grey clothing and a wolf ear headband. Might do face paint...
