UPR 2 - folder of evidence

Has anyone else recently applied to go up through the UPR? I've just done 2 years on UPR 1 so last year informed school I wished to apply to go to UPR 2 this year. I have my meeting about it with the head this year to go through my folder of evidence.

I've had to do a folder with evidence for each standard. Which I have done and it has taken me hours. A couple of days ago he emailed all having UPR meetings to say make sure there is evidence of progress for all year groups and not just yr 11 and yr 13, which mine had mainly concentrated on. So now I'm going through old spreadsheets and sisra desperately trying to find some stats which show I'm 'good enough' to go to UPR 2 for my old key stage 3 classes.

Just sharing my frustration really and seeing if anyone else has to summit a whole folder of evidence? (I moved jobs when I went through threshold and the school were happy to start me on UPR 1 so it's my first experience of it all). Dreading having to do it all again in 2 years for UPR3 (that's if my folder this year is good enough for UPR2!)

That should say my meeting is this week. Got to hand the folder in on Tuesday.

I had to submit a folder with evidence I met the teachers standards....it was huge. I then had to add to it (this isn't because I'm not a good teacher by the way!) and write a summary of the evidence. I almost put some old swimming certificates in for a joke!

I thought it was about having whole school impact rather than just meeting the standards?

I'm on UPR3 and have never had to submit anything more than a brief paragraph when I initially went onto upper. Now though, at my school, it's all about demonstrating your whole school impact at appraisal.

This varies hugely from school to school. At my place you just more or less get waved through...

Thanks, glad to know I'm not the only one with a full on folder of evidence. We have to do evidence for each standard but within this it shoould demonstrate whole school impact. It really is so different at different places. Oh well its pretty much finished now anyway.
