Planning on flipchartsder if

Hi
We have been given the option to plan maths directly on flip charts. It makes sense to me as I always feel like I cut and paste from my paper planning to my flip chart, but I wondered if anyone has any experience they could share.

I plan weekly directly onto smart notebook. Is that similar? I love it and can add/ change as necessary. I think it saves time (although I do have to do medium term plans in Word).
