Rock and a hard place...

I have to choose whether to keep my TLR and take on another year group, or leave my phase and current TLR role and go into another phase.
Keeping TLR is going to be much more work and responsibility, leaving the phase feels like a de-motion and could be equally as hard work?

Not swayed towards either option really!

Thoughts?

Thank you.

I think we need more information.

Who will get the TLR for leading the phase you're currently in? Are they moving someone into your phase who they are trying to keep sweet?

Which phases are they?

I would keep the TLR and take the extra year group as it is better for your career. Depends how much it's going to impact on your work life balance though. Obviously it's not a good idea if you will end up off sick with stress.
