6 months pregnant and recently lost my mum and just don't seem to be able to get much together in a day at all!
Feeling scared..

How long have you been teaching?

You're having a tough time at the moment and need to look after yourself. Teaching can take second place - wing it a bit, reuse plans, make things easier for yourself.

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a tough time Flowers

I haven't done anything to prepare. I can't even remember my password so I'll be straight to IT tomorrow. We have the INSETs to prepare.

Take it easy.

bumble When are you going off for mat leave? I wouldn't stress too much about it at this point. Focus on the basics and get others to help out with anything else.
I'll only be in for the first term..so 7 weeks...and I haven't been given a class for that reason. I've not done any planning or preparation, simply because I've got no clue what I'm meant to be doing anyway.

Thank you all Flowers
I have done bits but nowhere near what I need to do.
I hope I feel better after inset tomorrow.
Im going on ML at the start of December.
Good luck minispringroll I hope it goes well..

Well I'm not in the UK BUT

we start on Monday and I don't have my timetable yet or even know which year groups I have.
I teach a .6 timetable and am assuming I still work the same three days but who knows....

Does that make you feel better?

I'm back on Monday after eight months maternity leave Sad.

Planning and resources all done (Y6) and popping in tomorrow to photocopy them, but this is to make the transition back easier for me.

No inset days, so back in with the children for the whole week Envy.

I have done no work at all since we broke up. Brand new A level stuff to teach as of next Wednesday - haven't even looked at it and have never taught it before! I qualified in 1999 and this new topic has never been on the syllabus in that time!!! My HoD is no help either - he doesn't understand the syllabus never mind the new bits.
I feel like I should be more worried...
