DS is leaving year 2 in a few weeks and he has such a brilliant teacher that I'd like to buy her a thank you gift. What would you love to receive (female teacher)?

Sister teaches Year 2 & we've just finished interrogating her. Her requests are:-

  • John Lewis vouchers
  • alcohol
  • personalised stationary such as notepads or pens (to stop other teachers borrowing them)
  • something for her classroom eg games or lego. Dobble's been a big hit.
  • something made by your child - named mug, personalised candle.

Not bathroom smellies or (in her case) chocolates.

As a teacher, I love wine, notebooks etc., candles and vouchers either for department stores or for massages (these are a really popular gift at my school).

We got our Candle Pens here Yellow Moon. The candle has the advantage they can keep it forever if they really like the art or set light to it without upsetting anyone / cluttering their houses as that is the purpose of a candle.

Think we may for the beeswax one from Hobby Craft with a treatment voucher!
