Ordering with no credit card

I wonder if anyone can help? We need to order regular food for a new club we are starting. I don't want to have to go to the supermarket regularly and buy bulky orders and we can't do online Tesco, or whatever, as the school doesn't have a credit or debit card. Does anyone else know how their school does bulk orders for eg breakfast or after school clubs?

Can you talk to your local tesco or whatever and see if they will set up an account for you where they send regular invoices?

TBhI am surprised the school doesn't have a procurement card its unusual nowadaysnot to have one and I am in primary.

Yep, school has a credit card. How else do the but things from places you can't have an account, such as Amazon? Not everything can be bought from ESPO.

We don't have a card but I really wish we did! I end up buying stuff and claiming the money back. Fine if it's a small amount as you get it back in cash pretty fast. I once had to buy something over £30 and had to wait for it in my next pay cheque and I got taxed on it! Never did that again!

I know, it's mad. Our LA doesn't allow schools to have credit or debit cards which is so archaic, particularly as I reckon cheques will disappear altogether soon!

My school recently acquired a credit card and it has revolutionised our ordering! We have bread and butter delivered twice a week for breakfast club in all year groups, plus regular top ups of wipes, nappy bags and nappies for nursery. The office orders the extra nursery stuff to make sure they take advantage of the lowest possible delivery charge.

Chinese New Year was so easy this year as instead of each class or key stage having to go and do their own shopping for cooking ingredients, we just created a master list which the office ordered.

Would suggest you ask any corner shops near the school whether they would be prepared to deliver for you and then invoice the school
