Job offer and 4 weeks pregnant

Hi, I've had a tough year this year. I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to quit, hating it, work-life balance etc. My DH and I have been TTC since our wedding and I found out I was pregnant on Friday - I believe this was due to the holidays, relaxing a bit etc. Today (Monday) I had a job interview and I've been offered the job. I applied for the job a few weeks ago, they took a while to interview. I can afford to take less maternity pay (may only get SMP rather than the full shebang) however I'm willing to do this to have a better job to go onto after maternity.

Have I done the wrong thing? Will the school be annoyed to only have me for 2.5/3 months before maternity? Even if I was there a couple of years they'd still need mat cover.

Another thing is I've previously had a MC. I know the chances etc. When should I tell the school?

First of all, congratulations - twice. Flowers

With regards to the job, I don't think you have done anything wrong. They might be a bit annoyed, but I'm sure they'll get over it. Four weeks is still really early and I'd wait before telling them.

We've been TTC for quite a few years and have recently been referred for fertility treatment. In that time, I have moved schools once, had an MC..and currently apply for new positions. If I get pregnant, then that's lovely, but life doesn't stand still.
