Primary teacher to private nursery

Hello everyone,

I'd love some advice.
I'm currently a primary school teacher but previously worked in a nursery as a nursery nurse.

I would love to go back to working in a nursery but obviously the pay would drop drastically.
Anyone know what happens in private day nurseries regarding hiring teachers or what id be qualified to do in a nursery with QTS.

I've just seen a job in LEA Nursery that looks great! or look in EYFS in schools? I'd be careful about going into a private nursery as a teacher, and really check the job requirements and set up thoroughly. I know someone who did this and it was a disaster - although there's no reason it has to be - just proceed with caution!

And why would the pay drop? a teacher's a teacher.
