Hello! My husband is going for an interview as a Head of Sixth Form. I'm going to give him a mock interview. Please can you give me some questions to ask him? Thank you!!

You are launching a new initiative in school, but not all staff are on board. How are you going to make sure that it is successful?

You want to do xxxxxxx, but the head teacher disagrees with you. What are you going to do about it?

A child discloses to you about another member of staff. How will you respond?

Your pupils are about to set off on a coach trip to wherever & the teacher phones in as they've just been sick on their way to school. A parent comes to tell you that she's seen a Y7 pupil running away from school. An angry parent needs to see you immediately about some racially abusive bullying the happened to her son yesterday. Your SIP has just arrived to do your performance management & go through last year's A level results.
What are you going to do?

What steps will you put into place to quickly raise achievement in xxx x subject?
