Teachers - would this be okay?

When my mil stopped child minding she gave me approx 10 books, of craft/origami/cooking ideas etc for children.

I'm not the crafty sort, my talents lie elsewhere. Would it be acceptable to give these to my little boys nursery? I just don't want her to think I'm giving her them with an implied 'what you do is shite, try this' as it's honestly not meant like that. They are just gathering dust on my shelf.

Definitely offer them, most will be delighted and will probably only say no if they have lots of materials already. IME we always say yes please and thank you very much!!

They will be fallen on with cries of glee! :-)

Thank you both so much for responding.

His nursery teacher is very very lovely but very young (younger than me, sob!) and I really don't want to offend her in anyway.

I'll take them next week :)

I'm sure they will be received very well. It's always nice to be gifted stuff, there might be some good ideas they can use/adapt:>).
